Hanayuzu Bowl with Lid

Yuzu, a Japanese citron, is often used for Japanese cooking.  The designer visualised the pleasant aroma that yuzu added to the soup gives off while curiously opening the lid.  The glaze gives off a sophisticated gloss making this a stand out piece.  The lid gently sits on the inner bowl to highlight the petals forming an elegant yuzu flower.

This stunning porcelain bowl can be used decoratively and practically for safekeeping of small bits and bobs, or as a pretty bowl for sweets.  

Comes in two colours: Celdadon or Purple

All the pieces are handmade, so the shape, size and colour of each product are slightly different. In addition, small black spots, pinholes or similar cracks in the product itself are normal. This is a characteristic of pottery, not a defective product.
