Le Menu Mug

The French bistro-inspired Le Menu collection is simple and functional, yet oozes comfort and style .  Red earthen clay is covered with a layer of white powder-clay before transparent glazing, so-called the traditional Japanese "kohiki" technique.  It results in soft white and plumpy nuance. 

There are baked nuances on the rim and rustic iron in powder on the surface to enhance the handmade character, particularly with the perfect finger-sized handle.  

Considered a more shallow mug, it is great for serving soups and desserts in too.

All the pieces are handmade, so the shape, size and colour of each product are slightly different. In addition, small black spots, pinholes or similar cracks in the product itself are normal. This is a characteristic of pottery, not a defective product.
