Meet Linda, the founder of the stylish and sustainable reusable bags brand, OMOM.
"It was during 2014 that the journey towards OMOM began. I was tired of hauling home small plastic bags from the store that at best were reused at some point and at worst were put straight in the recycling. I wanted to make something that replaced the disposable bag, for myself."
1. Morning Must-dos
I’ve recently adopted a new morning routine that includes a brief meditation to center myself and calm my mind. A life coach inspired me to quiet my thoughts and connect with my true self. After meditating, I set my intentions for the day by visualizing how I want to feel at night, what I aim to accomplish, and the emotions I hope to have when the day ends.
2. What inspires you these days?
My garden! We moved to a wonderful place earlier this year, and I love spending time outdoors, caring for everything that’s growing.
3. Name two of your most precious belongings
I have an incredibly soft pair of pyjamas that I absolutely adore—I've had them for years! And, actually, my phone. I appreciate the flexibility it offers, allowing me to work from anywhere and giving me a sense of freedom. Over the past few years, I've improved my routine to avoid excessive scrolling and use my phone as a tool to enhance my life. Mindful mobile use, is that a thing? :)
4. When do you feel happiest?
I feel happiest when my kids are playing joyfully and I can be nearby, enjoying their company.
5. Your perfect Friday night is…
When my husband prepares a delicious dinner, we listen to music, and the kids play in the garden.
6. Daily unwinding ritual
Each night, we talk about “the best thing that happened today” with the kids before bed. I love hearing them share the little moments they enjoyed the most.
7. What is always in your carry-on when travelling?
A reusable water bottle and patches for bruises.
8. Favourite time of year & why?
Summer! I love the warmth and sunshine. Swedish summers can be truly wonderful.
9. Fave holiday destination
The Swedish west coast. It’s a perfect spot for enjoying seafood with friends, watching the sunset, and seeing the kids have fun fishing for crabs. It’s a must-visit if you're in Sweden during the summer!
